We partnered up with our friends at The Bluffland Hiking Group to host a Fall Hike on Nov 11th, in La Crosse, WI. It was a chilly morning but we kept things hot with a scavenger hunt for kiddos and some fun contests and prizes too. We stopped during the hike to give thanks to God for His creation and for providing a path to Him through Jesus! For that, we are thankful.

We set up archery and tomahawks and folks were treated to all kinds of good chili from the chili cook-off. Ray shared one of his memorable hunting trips. This one had everyone laughing and on the edge of their seats!

Ray then shared his testimony and how Kicking Bear got started. To close, we prayed for all the deer hunters who would be heading out for the opening weekend of gun season and gave away some awesome prizes. We are thankful for Olivet and their heart for serving the community alongside Kicking Bear!

Lastly, we got involved in the amazing Rotary Lights display and parade in La Crosse, WI this year too! If you are in the area, check out our tree down at Riverside Park in La Crosse. We are also signed up to help volunteer after the new year when they take all the lights down. Rotary Lights is a really amazing chance for families to be wowed by all the lights and create a holiday tradition. Definitely check it out if you can!
